Motovan’s End Cancer Booking Program
An Enormous Success…

Tuesday August 22nd, 2006 (Boucherville, Quebec) - On May 1st, 2006 Motovan launched its first ever End Cancer Booking Program.  A percentage of the sales generated through this program were donated to the Canadian Cancer Society on behalf of Motovan and their participating dealers.  The first ever Motovan End Cancer Booking Program ended with great success on June 30th, 2006.

Motovan Corporation is Canada’s premier distributor, exporter and developer of powersports parts and accessories.  An intense focus on building the largest Canadian dealer network, strong leadership and a quest for customer service excellence, are elements that have ensured Motovan’s position as Industry leader over the past 25 years.  Corporate social responsibility is a growing issue amongst Canadian companies, and this is on top of Motovan’s list of priorities.  A focus on employees, the community, and the environment, not simply on the bottom line, is what allows Motovan to differentiate itself in the powersports industry.  The End Cancer Booking Program demonstrates the desire that Motovan has to reach out and do whatever they can to help others.

Motovan was extremely delighted with the large response they received from all dealers when the End Cancer Booking Program was launched.  A great number of dealers stepped up and helped contribute to the substantial donation made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

“It was very important to Motovan and myself that the End Cancer Booking Program be successful.  Cancer has affected so many people’s lives, some of which I know personally,” explains Mike Paladino, Marketing Director Motovan Corporation.  “The response we got from our dealers when this program was launched was unbelievable.  I would personally like to thank every dealer who participated in the enormous success of the End Cancer Booking Program.”

A cheque was donated to the Canadian Cancer Society on behalf of Motovan and their dealers on July 14th.  Along with Motovan the Canadian Cancer Society were very pleased with the considerable donation that was made.

“The staff and volunteers of the Canadian Cancer Society are thankful for the generosity of Motovan and its dealers,” says Lesley Ring, Director, Corporate Development, Canadian Cancer Society. “Progress against cancer is made one donation at a time. The End Cancer Booking Program helps to support excellent research that will make a real difference in the fight against cancer.”
