Important Information - Read Before Installing Studs
• Follow the recommendations relating to stud quantity, patterns and the amount of turning carbide in the ski. Installing more studs/turning carbide, less studs/
turning carbide or not adhering to the patterns recommended may alter the stud and carbide balance as explained on www.WoodysTraction.com. These
recommendations provide maximum traction and control and extend the longevity of the product. Only use Woody’s lock nuts, support plates, templates,
installation tools and accessories to install your studs and runners.
• Do not install studs that exceed 3/8” above the snowmobile lug. Always confirm the allowable clearance between the track and the heat exchangers. Verify
tunnel protection for your sled with your dealer.
• Do not install studs under the tunnel protector strips. The integrity of the tunnel protectors is vital and must not be subjected to possible damage.
• After installing Woody’s studs and runners, the performance of the snowmobile will change. Operate the snowmobile in a careful and alert manner to
determine how your snowmobile handles with added traction.
