XR-1000) SPORTSTER EVOLUTION AND BUELL 1200 CAMS Andrews Products performance cams are available for all EV Sportster engines. Many of the cams listed below will run to 6500 RPM with stock hydraulic lifters. H/D hydraulic lifters are very proven units. We do not recommend solid lifters. For lower lift Sportster cams, cam base circle sizes are same as stock, so stock pushrods can be used (except V9 or BV). Adjustable aluminum or chrome-moly steel pushrods are also available. To run 91-99 style cams in a 2000 or later engine, a 46 tooth drive gear can be installed on the earlier ‘91 style #2 cam. The #2 drive gear can be pressed onto the #2 cam but it must be correctly timed.
