Permanent damage can result. 6 Charging time varies from 2 to 18 hours depending on battery and charger, sometimes even more (if in doubt, call us). 7 Readjust level with distilled water if necessary. Charge again for 20 min. to mix electrolyte. Never add acid once charged. 8 Check voltage and specific gravity with professional tools. This will give the exact state of the battery.
