We revised the design and added material to the piston wrist pin area of our forgings to achieve two very important benefits. The upper rod area where the rod beam meets the wrist pin boss has been blended together with a large, smooth radius that evenly distributes the stress load on the rod, and the small ends of the rods are now fully machined.
