Timing Tool The polished timing tool is manufactured with 303 and 304 stainless steel and is applicable to 1970- 1999 big twin cone - type engines with open plate ignitions. It allows the professional mechanic and the do-it- yourself mechanic the opportunity to precisely time the engine to an exact specification time after time. The accuracy is unprecedented as the timing is done off the camshaft instead of off the flywheel, therefore once TDC is determined on the left side of the engine, the actual timing process is performed from the right side of the engine. The timing procedure is now a 1- person job. Bonus – there’s no more oily mess to clean up on the engine primary, garage floor or mechanic and the big twin is always running Rite On Time. 50-0054 Timing tool Cam bushing reamer JIMS® now offers a bushing reamer kit that will line ream the cam case bushing, as well as the the cover bushing. Reamer will ream the inner cam bushing, and outer cam bushing, to a finish size of about .0008” to .0015”, over cam size, for using a needle bearing style cam. Once the case inner cam bushing is reamed to size. The cam cover, with new bushing installed, can be line reamed from the newly reamed inner cam bushing to the outer cam cover bushing. This will ensure a true centerline for your cam shaft. 53-0564 Use on Big Twin® single cam For pricing, visit www.motovan.com in the dealer section. 811 motors 1936-69 Caution : The bearing journal of all new cams for pre 1970 are ground to the late needle bearing size. This is the size that the JIMS® reamer will ream the cam bushing to. If you have an early bearing journal cam at about 8.115” this reamer will make this cam a loose fit. If reaming the cover bushing on a Big Twin® motor 1958-1969 you will only need the reamer #1721-3 Motion Pro™ Tappet Tool • O-ring design retails the tool in a 7/16’’ wrench or socket Hex 7/16’’ drive allows more rotation without contacting engine cases. • Flange design allows downward force to be applied to tool. • For use on Big Twin® (excluding Twin Cam®) with slotted screw tappet oil filter screen cover. • Can be used without removing exhaust pipes on most bikes. • A recommended service at every oil change. 08-0339 Breather reamer tool 53-0562 Tappet oil filter screw plug tool Use to remove tappet oil filter screen plug without removing exhaust pipes. Use on Big Twin® with slotted screw. 53-0135 Cam cover bushing reamer tool This tool allows reaming of the cam cover bushing, without disassembly of the crank cases and without the need of another right engine case, by piloting off of the cam bearing. At last JIMS® has done it! This is how it works with the motor you are repairing, either on the bench or in the frame. With new or good inner cam bearing installed, bolt reamer plate to right case, (this will align from your inner cam bearing to your cam cover dowel pin) then bolt your cam cover (with new bushing JIMS® No. 25581-70 installed) over the two dowel pins on reamer plate. Lube piloted reamer and ream cam bushing from the outside in. All reaming chips stay only in tool. Now your cam bushing is line reamed to your inner cam bearing, for the best cam alignment possible. 53-0598 Use on Big Twin® 1970- 1999. (Note : Includes Aftermarket and S & S®motors.) Oil pump seal installer Easily installs oil pump seal perfectly below gear surface for a no leak fit. Use on all aluminum Big Twin® pumps. 53-0041
