153 MOTOCROSS TIRES Geomax MX51 Intermediate/Soft Terrain The successor to the immensely popular D756, the Geomax MX51 delivers enhanced traction and grip, added durability and a wider range of terrain applications, reachingg further into the soft-terrain range while also improving substantially in hard-pack condition. Features & benefits • Profile design with more tread volume (greater land/sea ratio) in the shoulders for excellent cornering grip and a more open center-tread area for straight-line grip. • Recessed biting edges in the shoulder tread blocks yield more traction for greater grip, especially in corners and ruts, throughout a wide range of terrain conditions. • Tie-bar design connects and reinforces the tread blocks for greater tread stiffness, yielding improved intermediate-to-hard terrain performance. • Recess design in the area between tread blocks give the tire improved compliance for enhanced ride comfort. • Knobs are placed in a unique Geomax Reinforced Pattern (GRP) shoulder block distribution for better traction and grip in intermediate-to-hard terrain. • Enhanced land/sea ratio and wider tread profile for improved traction. • Larger-radius tread block base for strength and increased durability. • Used by top pro riders for the 2008 Supercross and Motocross Nationals. Features & benefits • The Geomax MX31 features Dunlop’s patented “ Chiseled” shoulder block shape. A taper in the block creates a smaller point on top that allows the knob to penetrate through the ground’s soft surface layer and grab the firm ground beneath. By burrowing below into firmer substance, the knobs gain traction instead of floating on the surface. • Limited block surface creates a more open pattern for enhanced penetration in soft dirt/sand to contact harder ground for increased traction. • Chiseled shoulder block shape improves side traction and makes traversing ruts easier. This tapered shape facilitates knob penetration through soft surface, whereas a flat knob would “float” and/or be deflected. Instead, the tapered knob penetrates into the firmer underlying ground to give the tire more bite for traction. • Knobs are placed in a unique Geomax Reinforced Pattern (GRP) shoulder block distribution for better traction and grip in soft-to-intermediate riding conditions. • Tie-bar design connects and reinforces the tread blocks for greater tread stiffness, yielding improved soft-to-intermediate terrain performance. • Recess design in the area between tread blocks gives the tire improved compliance for enhanced ride comfort. • Successor to the D773 Front 94-8128 2.50-10 33J 94-8129 2.50-12 39J 94-8130 60/100-14 30M 94-8131 70/100-17 40M 94-8132 70/100-19 42M 94-8133 80/100-21 51M Rear 94-8134 2.75-10 38J 94-8135 80/100-12 41M 94-8136 90/100-14 49M 94-8137 90/100-16 52M 94-8138 110/90-18 61M 94-8139 120/90-18 65M 94-8140 110/80-19 59M 94-8141 120/80-19 63M
